This badge is earned upon successful completion of the certification to teach hybrid and online courses at MSMC. This required workshop is designed to prepare MSMC faculty for teaching online and/or hybrid classes. The workshop models effective design and facilitation skills and addresses design issues, pedagogical approaches to teaching online and hybrid courses, as well as organization and management of an online class. It also provides an opportunity for faculty to become more familiar with the environment of the Moodle (eClass) LMS from both a student and instructor perspective. The total time on task is estimated at an average of 10-15 hours.

  • The following course has to be completed:
    • "Training to Teach Online (TTOL): Initial Certification - 2023-2024" with minimum grade of 100
  • This badge has to be awarded by the users with ANY of the following roles:
    • Manager
    • Teacher
    • Instructional Support
    • Client Admin
